Gang Awareness Program

We are committed to helping our community become educated about gangs. We know about their harmful effects, but we need to know so much more.

We have begun to hold community seminars about gangs. Specifically we have begun to talk about how to identify gang members, and gang problems in your home or neighborhood. We plan to continue to talk about this aspect.

We also are working on providing community education about what we can do to take control of our families, home, and neighborhoods, and get them back from gangs. We will continue to hold training on specific ideas for parents and communities on what they can do.

We are also working to support gang education for the staff in our schools and throughout the community, in partnership with the Police Department.
