Our Funding
Our main source of funding is currently The School Community Policing Partnership Grant from the State of California. However this grant will run out soon and we are looking for more sustainable forms of funding.
Another important source of funding for Youth First is the City of Gridley. The city council has been supportive of our initiative and goals. Their sense of hope for our youth is contagious and powerful, and we are grateful for their support and involvement.
The Gridley Unified School District has also provided tremendous financial and other support to get and keep this work going. It is impossible to list all of the Districts contributions, but their help has been invaluable.
The Butte County Office of Education has been another wonderful supporter, financially and otherwise. They have helped to pay for Lead with Assets, the Strongest Link, and training District employees in spreading assets, and they have helped and participated in numerous other important ways.
Along with these two major supporters, many business and individuals have contributed financially to Youth First, in general, and to specific projects.
